Born and raised as a child on the African continent and having lived in South Africa for over twenty years, Sophie Ferrand-Hazard has enjoyed the diverse creative talent of its people and the richness of the Earth and vivid colours of nature.
Being French, country of the ‘Savoir-Faire’, she is fascinated by the way the hand creates beautiful forms and she is always moved by the rich and diverse cultural heritage of traditional skills.
Sophie has recently moved to Europe and has made it her mission to celebrate and collaborate with master crafters in the world.
